It is our belief that books should be introduced to children at the earliest opportunity to support their development and learning throughout their lives.  Our project aims to inspire the love of reading between parents and their children. We will provide a safe place for parents with young children between the ages of 0-2 to explore the magical world of books and help reinforce the parent child bond.

Statistics show that around 20% of children cannot read well by the age of 11 which has a knock on effect to the rest of their life. Installing a love of reading from such an early age will help boost a child’s education as well as their confidence to go further.

We are very passionate about reading at The Cavendish School and want to pass this passion on to others.
