Scottish Labour Party Leader Visits Better World Books for a Tour and Story Time

Kezia Dugdale visited Better World Books on Sunday 14 May as part of the Scottish Labour Party’s general election campaign. She enjoyed a tour of the warehouse and was very impressed with the scale of the operation and the company’s literacy mission.

After the tour Kezia was joined in the Better World Books library by some local school children and settled down on the book throne to read “The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me” a childhood favourite of hers by Roald Dahl. Kezia took the opportunity to highlight the importance of education and literacy for Scotland’s school children.

At Better World Books we love the opportunity to show off our wonderful warehouse, home to 1.6 million books, and to talk about our literacy mission. Leaders of all political parties are welcome!
